Mind/Shift recently reported on a new study of fifth-graders using mobile devices for learning.  Few studies have been done on this sometimes controversial topic.  Will mobile devices encourage students to pay greater attention in class and take better notes?  Can mobile devices motivate students to spend more time on math practice? While this study does not provide definitive answers it does indicate a growing desire among students and their educators to take greater advantage of the mobile devices.
